'After her visual art education, Diane Steverlynck has moved on to textile design at La cambre National School of Visual Art. From then on, she has developed personal projects and is also working as an independant textile designer for companies and private interior design projects. At the same time she works for trend offices and as a teacher. For 6 years, Diane Steverlynck has been following a specific approach focused on textile and its various potential linked to object, space and functionality. The form, the aesthetics and the story of each design rise from a continuous research on textile, materials and their use.'
